Crazy Beautiful....

Well, hello everyone....long time, no see.....well, i was busy with my life...and today, i have understood the real meaning of life....I met someone.....no, *NOT* a girl...actually my best friend....Sushil....About the talk we had, i wont talk about here....but here's a link to the earlier state of my mind, before i had a talk with him....my other blog... http://stu-c.com/blogs/mayank ....read the "lost in the..." post.

But after talking to that wonderful guy, am really in the mood to write something different. Frankly speaking am not really sure what I wanna write about. Nyways will try to make some sense out of what I want to write. (Quite a difficult job you see)

*IMP* :I guess its another one of my mood swings , so another different side of me you gonna see.Njoy if ya can lol

Time is the biggest healer and change maker of them all. With time things have changed so much. So much , that sometimes I wonder if there is anything such as permanent in this world.

Sometimes you are so happy that you want that moment to freeze and you want to stay in that place forever .Sometimes you are so down and out that you wish if this all could just be a bad dream. The best explanation to this according to me would be that its all about maintaining the equilibrium.

For eg. If you get all the good everytime , sooner or later you will forget the importance and value of small things that give ya happiness.

On the other hand if u get them in small doses with regular amount of bumps in the road , the journey of life becomes all the more exciting. In gaming language I mean what fun would it be , if you had all the cheat codes and you knew that you are always gonna win.

Life if we look at it is really simple. I have always made good decisions in life , because all those decisions have made me into what I am now .Yes , my imperfect nature makes me regret some of them for sure , but if I look at the bigger picture I am always sure that they were indeed good decisions. It wont be wrong to say that all the experience be it good or ugly, its all worth it.

Life is simply “Crazy beautiful”.

Crazy : Because of the ups and downs , because of the uncertainty it holds ,because of the speed at which it can really change.

Beautiful : Because of the things it makes you learn , because of the variety it has , because of the loved ones you have with yourself.

The journey is always more beautiful if you have more people to share it with. We know those with the name of “FRIENDS” in life. So always cherish what you have instead of wanting more , trust me it ll make your life quite satisfied if not perfect. And yeah...do not *EVER* try to find if the "friends" you have, are actually friends....just try and chill....

These are some pearls....taken from the net, and from some experiences....do try to follow these(know it sounds boring, but just read on...you'll find them interesting)

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh nevermind; you will not
understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded.
But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and
recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before
you and how fabulous you really looked….You’re not as fat as you
imagine.

Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as
effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing
bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that
never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm
on some idle Tuesday.

Do one thing everyday that scares you

Sing

Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with
people who are reckless with yours.

Floss

Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes
you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with
yourself.

Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you
succeed in doing this, *tell me how*

Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements.

Stretch

Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your
life…the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they
wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year
olds I know still don’t.

Get plenty of calcium.

Be kind to your knees, you’ll miss them when they’re gone.

Maybe you’ll marry, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll have children, maybe
you won’t, maybe you’ll divorce at 40, maybe you’ll dance the funky
chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary…what ever you do, don’t
congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either – your
choices are half chance, so are everybody else’s. Enjoy your body,
use it every way you can…don’t be afraid of it, or what other people
think of it, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever
own..

Dance…even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room.

Read the directions, even if you don’t follow them.

Do *NOT* read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.

Get to know your parents, you never know when they’ll be gone for
good.

Be nice to your siblings; they are the best link to your past and the
people most likely to stick with you in the future.

Understand that friends come and go,but for the precious few you
should hold on.

Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and
lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you
knew when you were young.

Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard; live
in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.

Travel.

Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will
philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize
that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were
noble and children respected their elders.

Respect your elders.

Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund,
maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one
might run out.

Don’t mess too much with your hair, or by the time you're 40, it will
look 85.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who
supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of
fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the
ugly parts and recycling it for more than
it’s worth.

Dissapointed and Curious

[It's been a while since I have posted anything new. What usually happens is that I start a story but never actually have the chance to finish it, what with the other few hundred things going on in my life. However, I didn't think I could put this particular story in the Drafts folder given my level of disappointment and curiosity.]

I am going throught a really bad phase, dissapointed that all my secrets are out to the world, and I think that nobody likes me, even though people act as if they do, but it hurts me even more, when they act like they like you in front of you, and talk against you behind your back. (This line is to all the guys in my class >> the password you got didnt mean anything.... That was just to make the password more hard to crack, but the real thing is actually exactly opposite to what was in the password.) All those people, who know me, and have some grudges against me, please feel free to comment to this blog, the shorcut to do that is to click on the post comment button at the lower right corner of this post. Its your choice to leave your name with your comment, or you can post as anonymous, but please do comment and tell me what you think of me, honestly. All the things you dont like about me, and all the changes you would like to see in me.... I am really going through a very rough patch and need to sort things out a little bit. So, please do this little favour for me. Looking for some honest comments from you all. Sorry for the trouble, but i really need to do this..... Thanks.

My class......

As i was talking about my class mates in the last post, i think its time that i introduced my whole class.....

First of all, my class, B.Sc. (H.S.) Computer Science (H.S. means Honours School) has thirteen students. My best friends are Vijayata Sohal, Garima Kandal, Amit Sharma, and Ankit Aggarwal( not arranged in any particular order) I may not be their best friend, but they are to me, my best friends. All of my classmates are very nice people, but i am going to dissect them all one by one here ::::

Through this post, i dont mean to hurt anyone, just take these words in a fun way.

Vijayata Sohal >> I consider her my best friend in the whole class. Not that she's my Girl friend or something, and i dont wanna tell all of you, but i regard her as my best friend. She' very lively, bubbly, and very fun to be wih. Very cute, beautiful and also, honest.

Garima Kandal >> She's one very nice girl, and i really appreciate her for helping me whenever i needed some help. Very bubbly, and full of praise for everyone. One of my best friends, as i told earlier...

Amit Sharma >> He's one hell of a guy, really funky, and well, i shouldnt be saying this, but he has got the ability to attract almost anyone to himself, especially is the case with women. Gives very good advice, and has a broad outlook of the world.

Ankit Aggarwal >> Now we're talking... He's the most intelligent guy in the class (he may not be, but to me, he is) Has got his own website up and running, about which i was talking the last time, www.stu-c.com and its a total hit. Really a genius and always talks straight. I like that kinda people only, so i think thats why he's one of my best friends...

Now, the list will proceed in the alphabetical order......

Archana Kaushal >> She is one person i havent had much talk with, but whatever i have had, she's one sweet girl, full of laughter. A little shy, i think, but generally, participates in everything the class does.

Geetika Singh >> All i can say about her is that she is the only one in the class, who has her goals defined in life, and she gets among the highest, if not the highest marks in the class, almost everytime. A very nice girl....

Jashan Preet Grewal >> She is very funny, and sweet. Although uses the word "Buddy" almost in every sentence, but its kewl to me. Very cheerful and lively.

Mohammad Shahbaaz >> Now, he's one hell of a dude. Real funky and funny, he's the second guy of our class who can and has been able to attract almost everyone to himself. Has a real nice sense of dressing and a real cool accent ;)

Narender Singh Thakur >> The best programmer in the class. Very hard-working, and almost everytime, whenever Geetika doesnt get the highest marks, its him who gets 'em.

Neeraj Purohit >> He's the humour-source of our class. Has got a real good sense of humour and can make you laugh at almost anything by the jokes he tells. Also dances very good, especially when he's in front of girls ;)

Riti Parmar >> A university level swimming champ, she's one lively girl. Also holds the record in our class for talking at the loudest volume (GOD save me when i meet her the next time). Really nice and also, beautiful.

Yogi Lal Singh >> Class ki Jaan (nikaal key rakh deta hai) No, seriously, he's one very funny guy. Makes the best rip-off songs in our class. Verrrrrrryyy funny. and also honest and truthful, he talks to your face, which is possibly the best virtue in the world, 'cuz it requires courage, and he's got plenty of that.

That about it, my whole class. I really am blessed to be a part of this wonderful class. There are fun moments in our class, there are fights, there are bad days, there are good days, but whatever the scene may be, I just love my class, whatever mood it is in. Later guys, time for dinner....PEACE, ALWAYS.

Just getting started.......

After a hectic day at P.U. at the Department of Computer Science and Applications (D.C.S.A.), i am just wasting my time here in my dad's office on the first floor of our house. Just thinking that i wasted another day (the opening lines about being busy and tired was for the parents) when the annual exams have almost arrived with a full bang.....My friend Ankit Aggarwal had launched a students' forum www.stu-c.com a little more than a month ago, and now, we're launching a newspaper. We're not launching it as such, as it already has been launched, and has one issue already distributed for free, (that isuue was just crap, nothing else) The name of the paper is Stu-c Times and it will be a paper for the students of the Panjab University. I was looking for a rticles for that newspaper 'cuz we'd like thi issue to be a big hit, 'cuz this time, the editorial is in our hands (for those of you, who are now thinking that if we have launched the paper already, how come we're getting to be the editorial team now, it because that the previous issue was edited by Mr. Inderpreet Kang, who is our senior, presently doing his MCA in the same deptt.) This time, the editorial team consisttts of students of B.Sc. H.S. 1st year, Ankit Aggarwal, Amit Sharma, and me, Mayank Kaushik. All the guys who'll donate some articles in the paper will also get to be a part of the editorial team. This time, its gonna be a big bang, as this time, its in our hands. The last time, it was not so pre-planned and everything was done in a hurry, but this time, there is no hurry, and we're choosing the articles which suit the tastes of today's youth. Anyone (yes, reader of this post, i'm reffering to you...) who'd like to contribute to this newspaper, to make it a BIG TIME HIT, can mail me some articles, which you think would appeal to today's youth. my e-mail address is dcsastudent@yahoo.co.in looks like its around 8 P.M. and its time for dinner, so, later guys.....
